Tanya Harris is a member of the Property Management Team. Her role as a field agent focuses on showing rental properties and conducting occupied property inspections.

 

Tanya obtained her real estate license in March 1994 and later earned the designation of GRI (Graduate of the Realtor Institute). She worked as a full-time Realtor with Ingram & Associates until 2012 and then transitioned to a referral agent role until moving her license to Parr & Abernathy in 2024.

 

In 2012, Tanya began working for the City of Hopewell, first as a clerk in the Real Estate Assessor’s Office and later with the Department of Development. In 2016, she joined the Virginia State Police as a Senior Secretary, where she served until her retirement in August 2023.

With 30 years of real estate experience and 12 years in the Commonwealth of Virginia Retirement System, Tanya brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her new role.

 

Outside of work, Tanya enjoys spending time with her beloved Labrador, Georgia, and indulging in her creative hobby of making unique pieces from sea glass she collects during her travels.
